Abstract

Today, it is common to see children playing on tablets and iPads. This workshop invites participants to explore applications that aim to promote young students' knowledge of number concepts and repeating patterns and investigate the affordances and constraints of different applications. We will also consider the place of tablets and their applications in children's mathematics education.
