Abstract

We show that the L²(w) operator norm of the composition M∘T_Ω, where M is the maximal operator and T_Ω is a rough homogeneous singular integral with angular part Ω∈L^∞(Sⁿ⁻¹), depends quadratically on [w]_A₂, and that this dependence is sharp.
