Ultra-high field enhancement in single and coupled split-ring resonators using inhomogeneous polarized illumination

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

We show that the field enhancement in Au split-ring resonator structures can be increased by orders of magnitude by using azimuthally polarized illumination, rendering this scheme highly attractive for nonlinear optics, imaging and Raman spectroscopy.
