Towards measurement of tunneling times of a bose-einstein condensate

Abstract

We present progress towards measuring tunneling times of massive particles. A variety of 1D scattering potentials with 1.2 μm resolution are created, which we use to engineer our momentum distribution, and study tunneling times.
