Abstract

A panel discussion was organized on the key role of theoretical and computational electromagnetics in the emergence of technologies. Emphasizing the current climate crisis, the discussants and the audience urged close attention to reduced energy use in new devices and systems, as well as collaborative efforts to address Grand Challenges. Education of incipient and junior researchers in electromagnetics must focus on innovation, ethics, inclusion, and diversity.
