Abstract
The article discusses the regional and international implications of peace in the Syrian Civil War, including in regard to Russia and Iran's support of the Syrian government under President Bashar al-Assad. An overview of the U.S.'s policy towards the Syrian Civil War, including former President Barack Obama's call for Assad to step down, is provided.
