The Faunal Remains

The article focuses on the faunal assemblage in Palestine which identifies 81 bone fragments from animals such as domesticated and livestock animals in the early Islam. Topics discussed include the assemblage of livestock involving animals which were raised for milk and meat, the presence of livestock animals such as caprines and donkey in the assemblage which shows that the bone fragments could be found in the southern Levant, and the religious consumption of Muslims in the Early Islam.
