Abstract
The authors examine adjustment and leadership development among immigrant women from Ethiopia to evaluate contributions of a specific leadership development program. The program positively affected women's sense of belonging to community, perceptions of leadership competence, and levels of community activity. More significant positive correlations existed among the women who participated in the leadership development course than those who did not.
