Abstract

We report the direct production of H2O2 from O 2 and H2O using a heterogeneous catalyst made from non-toxic materials using light as the sole energy source for the process. Photocatalytic production of H2O2 is demonstrated using light energy without the need for additional chemical energy (sacrificial compounds) or applied electrical potential.
