Stimulated emission of cylindrical vector beams from a dye-doped slab waveguide

Abstract

We demonstrate that radially and azimuthally polarized beams can be generated by emission from a dye-doped optical waveguide. Pumping above population inversion, we observe a simultaneous collapse in energy and momentum of the conical emission.
