Abstract
Though initially an unknown quantity to the public and relevant elites, President Donald Trump gained much popularity in Israel. This approach resulted from the US’s longstanding public support among Israelis and the President’s Israel-specific policies, mostly on territorial issues and concerning Iran. In the last months of Trump’s presidency, Israelis grew even more appreciative, as the President seemed to have played a crucial role in a dramatic upgrade of Israel’s relations with four Arab countries.
