Second order transient photo-induced reflectivity changes for retrieval of plasmonic nanostructures' dynamics

Abstract

By utilizing a novel experimental pump-probe method, we measure simultaneously the first- and second-order transient reflectivity in plasmonic nanostructures. We find that the additional information imposes strong constraints on the interpretation of the ultrafast dynamics.
