Abstract
SNR in Rayleigh-based Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) depends strongly on theinterrogation method. Using dual interrogation setup we compare OTDR-DAS and OFDR-DASperformances. With spatial resolutions kept similar, OFDR-DAS shows markedly superior SNRperformance.
