Abstract

R. Joseph Gikatilla is one of the most studied figures in thirteenth-century Kabbalah and yet some of the most basic subjects need to be addressed by scholarship. The present study will offer a modest but sugnificant contribution to the study of R. Joseph Gikatilla's kabbalistic writing with an edition, translation and study of his unpublished 'Secret of the Cherubs'
