Abstract
We use dispersion-engineered PPLN nanowaveguides to demonstrate optical parametric amplification without either temporal walk-off or group velocity dispersion. These quasi-static devices achieve large gains (>145 dB/cm) across >900 nanometers using picojoules of pump pulse energy.
