Quasi-morphisms and quasi-states in symplectic topology

Abstract

We discuss certain "almost homomorphisms" and "almost linea" functionals that have appeared in symplectic topology and their applications concerning Hamiltonian dynamics, functionaltheoretic properties of Poisson brackets and algebraic and metric properties of symplectomorphism groups.
