Ponderomotive detuning of excitonic high harmonics in GaN

Abstract

Quantitative theory-experiment analysis demonstrates that ponderomotive detuning reveals a set of excitonic resonances in high harmonics emitted by a 200nm-thick GaN crystal. We show that these dynamical resonances are sensitive to electronic many-body effects.
