Abstract
This essay offers a reading of the Hungarian-Swiss former child-deportee Pierre Katz's prose and poetry in the light of Colin Davis's concept of "traumatic hermeneutics" in his book Traces of War: Interpreting Ethics and Trauma in Twentieth-Century Writing (2017)
