Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the global behavior of the difference equation x_n+1 = a + 1/√a^α-1x_nx_n-k^α/x_n + 1/√a^α-1x_n-k^α, n = 0, 1, ... where k is a positive integer, a, α ε (0, ∞) and x₀, x_-1, ..., x_-k > 0.
