Abstract

We study the behavior of end-to-end packet delay in public cloud networks. This work presents preliminary results from large-scale measurements in two public cloud networks, Amazon's AWS and Microsoft's Azure. We analyze the measurements both in the time domain and in the frequency domain, and present new insights into the behavior of network delay in the cloud.
