Abstract

A 2.05-4.6-μm mid-IR spectrum (-10 dB) is generated by adiabatic conversion of a near-IR OPCPA pulse, employing a single 2-centimeter-long quasi-phase-matched lithium niobate grating. The technique is widely applicable for ultrabroadband near-IR to mid-IR conversion.
