Multi-megawatt, self-seeded Mamyshev oscillator

Abstract

We demonstrate a fiber oscillator that is environmentally stable and self-seeded. The oscillator generates 190 nJ, linearly chirped pulses that can be compressed to 35 fs resulting in 3 MW peak power.
