Message from the general chairs

Welcome to NetGCoop 2012, the 6th International Conference on Network Games, Control and Optimization, held this year in the beautiful medieval city of Avignon, during November 28–30, 2012. NetGCoop has returned to Avignon, five years after the first conference took place there. The conference thus comes back to its geographical roots, with a slight change in the name from NetCoop to NetGCoop reflecting the ever growing importance of game theoretic principles and tools for understanding the interaction among elements in many networking domains, including communication, computer, social and transportation networks. We look forward to your participation and hope you find the conference successful and intellectually exciting.
