N2 - The aim of the study was to expand the understanding regarding male victims of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) by male or female perpetrators. We compared 58 males who had been sexually abused by males with 39 males who had been abused by females in the domains of personality traits, trauma-related features, traumarelated psychopathologies, and fear of intimacy. The findings of the study revealed that male perpetrators were more aggressive and intensive in their abuse than female perpetrators, presumably generating greater psychopathology in their victims, including higher levels of neuroticism, PTSD and dissociative symptoms, fear of exposure, fear of attack, and fear of one’s own destructiveness.
