Israel's Public Procurement Regime: International and Comparative Aspects

This chapter describes and analyzes Israel’s public procurement regime, including the system that has been for judicial review of procurement processes and decisions, with a special emphasis on if and how international agreements concluded in this field have been implemented, and the impact that they have had on the country’s procurement patterns. The chapter also evaluates the relationship between Israeli procurement regulations and those of other legal systems with a view to discussing the extent to which foreign legal systems have influenced Israeli regulation.
