    Abstract

    This chapter provides the introduction to the book and lays out the structure of the books. Setting out the research questions that needs to be answered about corruption and anti-corruption movement in Sierra Leone, this chapter summarises each chapter giving the reader a sense of what to expect in the chapters. It also explains the methodology that is used to undertake this research and points the gaps the book intends to fill as there has a long gap in academic research on corruption in Sierra Leone. Additionally, it points out some challenges of putting the team together but underscore the importance of the work.
