Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and devices that allow a viewer to see a holographic image from 360° around the image.SOLUTION: A system 400 comprises an SLM, an objective 310 (specular mirror) through which a holographic image produced by projecting a laser beam onto the SLM is imaged onto a stage; and an eyepiece 320 (convex lens) for projecting the holographic image from the stage toward the eyes of a viewer. The holographic image is projected from the stage toward the eyes of the viewer, and the SLM is imaged on the eyes of the viewer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
