title = "Geodesign Between IGC and Geodesignhub: Theory and Practice",
abstract = "This paper compares the IGC academic approach to geodesign with the Geodesignhub approach, which is closer to the real world of interest groups practitioners. Based on two latest workshops, the paper assesses the degree to which geodesign—as a methodology that combines design and geography, powered by GIS technology that enables measurement of performance—could lend itself well on the bridge between academia and practice. The purpose of the CAMKOX Corridor and Neve-Sha'anan workshops was to think through strategic alternatives for a complex set of intra- and inter-system relationships among policies and projects in a future-oriented spatial–temporal manner, and to do this with considerable openness, flexibility and efficiency.",
