Generation of High Harmonics and Isolated Attosecond Pulse from MgO

Abstract

We theoretically investigate attosecond pulse generation from MgO and show that phase-stable two-color femtosecond laser pulses generate a continuous plateau of high harmonics and isolated attosecond pulses with duration as short as 400as.
