Fast-light enhanced Brillouin laser based active fiber optics sensor for simultaneous measurement of rotation and acceleration

Abstract

We show an enhancement of ~358 for two counter-propagating Brillouin lasers in the sensitivity of an Active Fast Light Fiber Optic Sensor, which performs as a gyroscope and a sensor for acceleration, strain and temperature.
