Extended phase-matching of high harmonics driven by focusing light in planar waveguide

Abstract

We show, theoretically and experimentally, that the regime of pressure-tuning phasematching in high harmonic generation is extended to shorter wavelengths when the process isdriven by focusing light (positive intensity gradient) within a planar waveguide.
