Abstract
We would like to correct a computational error that has affected the plasmon energy diagram shown in Figure 4 of the paper. The corrected version of Figure 4 is shown below. The Drude model parameters that were used in this calculation are as follows: l = 1; ωB = 9.5 eV; ε∞ = 5; εE = 1.8. The corrected energies obtained from the plasmon hybridization model now appear at higher energies than those measured in the experiment. This is likely due to the fact that only dipolar terms were incorporated in the energy diagram.
It is important to note that the shape of the energy curves of Figure 4 was not affected by the computational error. Since the energy diagram was used in the paper only for a qualitative analysis of the experimental results, neither the discussion nor the conclusions of the paper require any modification.
