Abstract

We correct a typo that repeated itself in several equations. Our previous results and conclusions are unchanged. A persistent typo occurred in Eqs. (7) and (8) of article [1], where the x and y variables should have been in the numerator of the complex exponent rather than in the denominator. The corrected equations are as followed: (Farmula Presented). This typo also recurred in 2 equations embedded in the text, in page 12. The corrected paragraph is given here. “In the new algorithm suggested here, termed Algorithm I, we suggest taking 16 holograms as an input and performing the process suggested in Ref. [20] on each group of 8. Then, the second multiplexed hologram is multiplied by exp( jπ x / Δx) , causing the CC terms to shift to the two inner quarters of the SFD, prior to summing it with the first multiplexed hologram. In the fourth and last algorithm suggested here, termed Algorithm J, only 4 holograms are taken as inputs. As before, a complex hologram is created from each pair, prior to multiplying the second complex hologram by exp (jπ x/Δx) , causing the CC terms to be shifted to the two inner quarters of the SFD, and summing it with the first complex hologram to yield the SFD illustrated in Fig. 4(h)”.
