abstract = "We formulate the set of equations that describe the trajectories of electrons counter-propagating along a radially polarized optical Bessel beam (OBB). It is shown that a significant fraction of the electrons can be transversally trapped by the OBB even in the case of 'un-matched' injection. Moreover, these transversally trapped particles (TTP) can be transported without loss over more than half a meter long interaction region.",
