Abstract

We investigate Raman conversion in hollow-core photonic bandgap fibers pressurized with Sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) and Tetrafluoromethane (CF4) gases. We obtain conversion efficiency to the first Stokes of 55.7% with SF₆ and 45.4%
