Abstract

Distances between homotopy classes of W^s,p(S^N;S^N) are investigated by researchers. It is demonstrated that the classes These classes are precisely the connected or path-connected components of W^s,p(S^N;S^N). The researchers obtain the order of magnitude of the distances dist W^s,p, and show that these results are not sensitive to the choice of a specific distance among various equivalent ones.
