We experimentally demonstrate direct Kerr-microresonator frequency-comb atomic spectroscopy, utilizing a cascaded two-photon 1529-nm transition in a rubidium micro-machined vapor cell. The demonstration is a path for compact atomic frequency references and multiphoton comb-atom interactions.
