Abstract

A novel algorithm is proposed to overcome bandwidth limitation using lowresolution DACs. We demonstrate electrical back-to-back 32Gbaud QAM-64 over 11GHz and optical 32Gbaud QAM-4 over 5GHz using 4 bits and 2.6 bits DACs respectively.
