Abstract

an overhead line magnetic energy harvester with an active rectifier was investigated. An approximate harvester's model is constructed and analyzed to derive a design procedure to establish the key parameters of the harvester's magnetic structure. The offered design approach is simple and suitable for engineering purposes.Theoretical expectations were verified by simulation and experiment and stand in good agreement.
