title = "Depolarization Diversity",
abstract = "Depolarization of EM waves in terrestrial communication links has been poorly researched. The main source of knowledge to this field comes from Stokes parameters and various field tests results. This paper presents an innovative analytical approach to this topic, providing a sufficient way of predicting the polarization of EM waves. This can be used to reduce polarization losses in receiving antennas, hence, more effective data transmission can be achieved. This paper makes use of the waves total intensity and derives probability functions for parameters of the spatial polarization ellipse.",
