Abstract

The authors regret: In the paper “Time of Refreezing of Surrounding the Wellbore Thawed Formations” by I.M. Kutasov and L.V. Eppelbaum (IJTS, Vol. 122, pp. 133–140), in equations (1) & (3)–(8) we missed “1+” in the brackets before fraction, and these formulas should be corrected – please see below. At the same time, results of calculations presented in tables and plots are correct (formulas used in computer subroutines were exact ones).[Formula presented][Formula presented][Formula presented][Formula presented] Combining Eqs. (3)–(5), we obtain Eq. (6) for estimating the time of refreezing (t_ep).[Formula presented][Formula presented][Formula presented] The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
