Abstract

The authors regret ‘In the section titled “Baseline DXA Report: Minimum Requirements” the text “Recommendations for the necessity and timing of the next BMD study" is replaced with the approved Official Position “A DXA report should state that a follow-up exam is recommended as long as a valid comparison is available, and the precise timing depends on particular clinical circumstances.” In the section titled “Followup DXA Report” the presently updated position: "A DXA report (baseline and follow-up) should state that a follow-up exam is recommended as long as a valid comparison is available, and the precise timing depends on particular clinical circumstances" is replaced with the approved Official Position “A DXA report should state that a follow-up exam is recommended as long as a valid comparison is available, and the precise timing depends on particular clinical circumstances.” In the section titled “Appendix B: Official positions deleted or relocated from 2019 List”, the text “"Recommendations for the necessity and timing of the next BMD study” is added for consistency with changes above.’ The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
