Abstract

Electronic deception of a group of radars by electronic combat air vehicles is considered. Using the principles of line of sight guidance a kinematic methodology for phantom target generation is presented. Kinematic relations with reference to specific missions of infinite time deception, rendezvous, and minimum control effort deception are presented. Simulations are carried out for different vehicle speeds, deceiving missions, and radar arrangements. Results highlight that various phantom target models can be generated using the proposed simple relations.
