Controlling the coherent response of arbitrarily shaped plasmonic nanoparticles

Abstract

We utilize an ultra-broadband pulse-shaper to control the coherent electronic motion in arbitrarily shaped nanoparticles, steering the third-order nonlinear response from destructive to constructive interference. Our results outperform the transform-limited case by a 200% enhancement.
