Conceptual basis for designing holographic synthetic aperture telescope

Abstract

A scheme of Synthetic aperture with Fresnel elements (SAFE) which may be used as a basis for designing synthetic aperture telescopes is proposed. Laboratory indoor experiments provide the proof of concept for such a design.
