Abstract

Gene translation is a central cellular process in all living organisms including humans. Thus, predictive modeling of this process, based on various patient specific genomic and cellular features, should have important applications in the diagnosis and understanding of various diseases. In this chapter we survey the recent advances in modeling gene translation and its potential clinical applications.
