Abstract

The new coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has placed a huge burden on many countries around the world and the management of the global crisis significantly relies on the use of social media platforms to communicate and organize civil responses. The goal of the project is to compare the communication of users on Twitter during the pandemic and with communication in the event of social phenomena such as elections. To compare these, we collected and analyzed over 400 million tweets related to the COVID-19 topics. If this true, then the distribution of hashtags
should be different.
