Abstract

We propose and demonstrate a compact tunable optical dispersion compensator (TODC) with 100-GHz FSR. The TODC is based on longitudinal displacement of a WGR resulting in chromatic dispersion compensation of ±1000ps/nm with 70-GHz usable bandwidth.
