Abstract
The article reports on initial findings from a citizen science research project in schools, aiming to understand the process of integrating citizen science, the perceived outcomes for students, and ways to evaluate such projects. Topics include the advantages and challenges of citizen science in schools, teacher and project leader perspectives on student outcomes and impacts, and the need for project assessment before implementation in schools.
