Abstract
Chronic urinary tract infection should not be simply regarded as an “antibiotic responsive disorder.” Predisposing factors should be sought and eliminated in addition to antibiotic administration, but should always rely on culture and sensitivity testing. With appropriate management and elimination of morbidities, quality of life is typically good.
